WHAT HAPPENED: Today marks the start of early voting in Missouri for the November 3 general election. Missouri Lt. Governor candidate Alissia Canady is urging voters to get their voting plan into place and vote in-person absentee now.
ALISSIA CANADY, Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor, said: “With early voting starting today, I encourage you to find your local election authority and vote in-person absentee as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to not only vote early, but to also act as an informed and engaged member of your community by voting down ballot. Statewide and local officials play a critical role in our day to day life. Don’t hesitate – this is your time to exercise your right in a safe, secure and socially-distant way.”
